The First Day

The title of this blog comes from a line of lyrics in a song by Suburban Kids with Biblical Names, a band whose name evokes a certain affinity for me - I happen also to be a suburban kid with a biblical name. And their music is pretty rad too. I like that particular line. I've never been able to take myself too seriously (for better or worse), so I'd like to think of my blog as a burning inferno of ba-ba-ba - pretty light, insubstantial and pedestrian.

Okay i'm gonna go ahead and admit that I looked up "pedestrian" on dictionary.com just to make sure it means what I thought.
